To whom it may concern,
I am a Strategist—from Ireland, currently living in Amsterdam, thinking about moving to London.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked both directly and indirectly (through agencies) on predominantly digital (and sometimes physical) technical products.
Trained as a designer (BA Visual Communication), I experienced a timely happenstance: my transition from art college to the real world coincided with a pivotal era when the world around us was being transformed by the internet, personal computers, smartphones, and social media apps.
Technology, especially the digital kind, is something I’ve come to view as almost liquid due to the pace at which it evolves. This constant change is precisely what I love about it.
I take great satisfaction in learning about the continuous revelations of the myriad ways we can continuously shape and style the technological systems that make our lives run, and I seem to have found my groove in the collaborative space between the company leaders and creative teams who are building them. As they bring products to life through their artful crafts, I create maps of where this “liquid” could flow, what it could carry, and chart actionable courses to ensure it actually begins to move safely, securely, and creatively in those directions—learning, iterating, and adjusting along the way.
I’m almost always open to conversations with anyone on any topic, so please feel free to reach out; I’ll get back to you eventually.
I hope you’ve had/are having/will have a wonderful day.
