My journey through WeTranfer was the most enlightening experience I could have ever wished for when it came to learning the inner workings of software—from it’s epidermis right through the back-end to the platform and servers. My 5 years there were akin to a medical degree, where instead of learning tools to treat humans, I learned ‘human’ to treat tools.
I learned from the best and had the privilege of shipping (and retiring 2 of) 4 entirely new products — A sketch integration (when sketch was a thing), a Developer Portal featuring APIs, SDKs, and a neat little embed; A Private Beta called ‘Projects’, which was the stepping stone to a fully-fledged platform that’s alive and kickin’ today called Portals.
